
Are you looking for a fun and creative after school activity for your teen? During this 8 week long after school class, students will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel and learn the basics of wheel throwing while also learning the fundamentals of hand building.
What You'll Learn
Students will learn how to create functional pieces both on and off the pottery wheel. On the pottery wheel they will learn how to to prep clay, centre it on the wheel, open it up and pull the walls. Students will also learn traditional hand building techniques including pinching and slab work. They will be introduced to a variety of glazing techniques to finish and decorate their pieces.
What You'll MakeStudents will make bowls, mugs, plates, ceramic jewelry and a variety of functional ceramic wares based on their own choices.

For lots of one on one support class is kept small to 7 students.

Nothing! All the supplies are included. We suggest that all students dress for mess and wear clothes that they don't mind getting a bit of mud on.
What if I miss a class or need to cancel?
Missed Class Policy:
We do not offer make up classes for any missed classes.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds are only given if the registered students parent/guardian cancels in writing via email more than 7 days ahead of the class. There is a $30 administration fee for all cancellations, regardless of the time frame. We do not offer any refunds once the class has already started.
