Workshop + Class Policies

Missed Class Policy

Please make sure you can commit to the entire class series at the time of purchasing. Makeup classes are not available. If you think you will miss any of the classes during a multi week series then please do not sign up for the class. It is not possible to miss the first class of ANY multi day series.

Cancellation

Please ensure you can commit to the workshop date. Refunds are only given if the student cancels via email more than 7 days ahead of the class. There is a $30 administration fee for all cancellations, regardless of the time frame. The $30 fee is removed from the class cost before tax.

Attendance

Please try to arrive on time to ensure you are not missing out on any instruction for the workshops and also to prevent disruptions to other attendees. Instruction will commence within 5 mins of scheduled start time. 

Only the registered students can attend the workshops.

Picking up Finished Work

We have limited space for storage; hence, our policy is to store student work for only three weeks. Please remember to pickup your work within this timeframe. Ceramics and Jewelry pieces take time to dry, fire and assemble. Please allow up to three weeks for your pieces to be completed.

​​Social Media Publication

All photos taken within the studio relating to classes and workshops could be used on social media for marketing purposes. By registering or attending the classes or workshops, you are indirectly giving consent to Speckled Row to publish these materials. 

Clothing

Please dress for mess so that you do not have to worry about ruining your clothes. Clay is messy and it could possibly stain your clothing. If you are taking a wheel throwing class please make sure that you have long hair tied back. Speckled Row is not responsible for any damages to clothing or any damage/loss of personal belongings.

Release of Liabilities

As a participant and/or the legal parent or guardian, you release and hold harmless to Speckled Row, its owner and employees from any liabilities, claims, demands and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or out of the premises under the control and supervision of Speckled Row; or in route to or from Speckled Row premise. All workshop/class attendees must sign a release waiver prior to the start of class.

Medical Emergency

By registering, you hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions or conditions and/or declare to be in good physical and mental health. In the event of emergency, you give permission to Speckled Row to seek medical treatment for the participant if they are unable to reach a parent/guardian.
